[et_pb_section bb_built=”1″][et_pb_row][et_pb_column type=”4_4″][et_pb_toggle _builder_version=”3.21″ title=”From where do the tours start?”]

The Mini Hot Rod tours start from our headquarters located at 8. Rumbach Sebestyén utca. Our garage is in the front part of the Rumbach parking lot.

[/et_pb_toggle][et_pb_toggle _builder_version=”3.21″ title=”What are the payment options?”]

A card payment option is available on our webpage. The tours can also be paid on site by a card or using cash.

[/et_pb_toggle][et_pb_toggle _builder_version=”3.21″ title=”Is a driving licence required for the tour?”]

Following the legal regulations, the Mini Hot Rods can only be driven with a valid B category driving licence. Alternatively A or A2 category motorbike licences can be accepted too. The issue date has to be at least one year eralier than the tour date.

[/et_pb_toggle][et_pb_toggle _builder_version=”3.21″ title=”At what time must the participants arrive to the booked tour?”]

Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the booked start of the tour. The time is necessary for the quick administration of guests and training with the vehicles.

[/et_pb_toggle][et_pb_toggle _builder_version=”3.21″ title=”How should I prepare for the ride?”]

For your convenience and safety, guests are required to wear closed toe shoes. Flip-flops and sandals are not allowed, please bring proper shoes. For the time of the ride, we are happy to keep your flip-flops safe at our base.

Please dress according to the weather. Take the effect of wind chill into account – in the colder hours a jacket may be neccesary.

[/et_pb_toggle][et_pb_toggle _builder_version=”3.21″ title=”Do I have to wear a helmet?”]

Yes, wearing a helmet while riding the Mini Hot Rods is compulsory. Helmets are provided for all participants on the spot, but you can bring your own helmet as well.

[/et_pb_toggle][et_pb_toggle _builder_version=”3.21″ title=”Does driving require prior training?”]

Before the ride we provide a short presentation to every guest about the operation of the Mini Hot Rods and the rules to follow on the streets. Our mini cars have automatic transmission so they are easy to use. Guests only need to get acquainted with the two pedals (accelerator and brake), the steering wheel and the controls (ignition, lights, horn) – much like the controls of go-karts.

[/et_pb_toggle][et_pb_toggle _builder_version=”3.21″ title=”I am very tall/a bit short. Do I fit in the car?”]

The Mini Hot Rods are equipped with adjustable seats, which ensures that everybody of a height between 150 centimetres (4’11) and 210 centimetres (6’11) can use the vehicles in a safe and comfortable way.

[/et_pb_toggle][et_pb_toggle _builder_version=”3.21″ title=”Can I drive if I consumed alcohol?”]

Of course not! According to the legal regulations, Hungary has a zero tolerance rule on drinking and driving. Not only the authorities take this seriously, but we also are strict about it for the safety of our guests. We reserve the right to do a breathalayzer test with the guests before the tour. Also, the use of any substances affecting your ability to drive safely are a reason for cancellation.

[/et_pb_toggle][et_pb_toggle _builder_version=”3.21″ title=”What if the tour cannot be made due to weather conditions?”]

For safety reasons we do not start or continue tours in rainy conditions. In the case of unsuitable weather we do everything to reschedule the already booked tours for a suitable time. If that is not possible, a full refund of the paid amount will be made.

[/et_pb_toggle][et_pb_toggle _builder_version=”3.21″ title=”Do you have Mini Hot Rods with two seats?”]

Our vehicles fit one person, so all our guests have to drive on their own and according to the rules mentioned in this Q&A.
